仙境北疆 喀纳斯 Kanas in northern Xinjiang
Hemu Township is located in the northern part of Xinjiang, in Burqin County, close to the Mongolian and Russian borders. It is a small village with several hundred households and several thousand residents, mainly Mongolian, Kazak and Tuwa. Hemu Village is located on a piece of flat land surrounded by mountains on four sides. The village is surrounded by rows of populus euphratica and white birch. In autumn, the Hemu forest becomes colorful, presenting typical natural scenery. In autumn, several clouds are floating in the sky. Down the slop spread two levels of houses under birch treetop. The Hemu River runs peacefully in the shadow of birch forest. The evening sun is gently sprinkled on wooden cabins. The herd of cattle return to the village through a wooden bridge over the Hemu River. The whole village presents a very peaceful image, like a quiet, colorful oil painting.
